On Saturday, April 28th join GenFriends for a LearnN. The focus this time is census records. Indexing the 1940 Census

The 1940 US Federal Census will be released on April 2, 2012 at 8:00 central time. There is no index. A volunteer indexing project has been organized to create an index so we can all find out ancestors easily. You can volunteer to help.
